What it is
North Star Lab is the private command-center service for projects that span many sessions. It stores the operating picture in one place: recent work, carry-over tasks, recovery notes, and the next safe action.
Why I run it
Agent work gets messy when the only state is a chat transcript. North Star gives long-running work a home outside the chat window, so the next session can start from evidence instead of memory.
How I use it
I open the protected dashboard when I want to know what the lab should do next. The first-screen view shows the current goal, the latest review notes, open carry-over work, and the next safe action. Background checks prepare summaries; risky work stays separate.
