What it is
My homelab dashboard started as a directory of services. The current version is a personal hub: a useful first stop for making something, studying, finding a film, or looking after the systems behind it all.
Five views keep those jobs separate: Home, Create & Study, Media, Homelab, and Build. Familiar destinations stay easy to reach, while the everyday view feels more like a desk than a wall of infrastructure counters.
What changed
The latest refresh brought daily shortcuts, the creator studio, study tools, media access, and playback activity into one dark, compact interface. A near-black purple background and a small custom mark give it a little personality without competing with the task.
Desktop and mobile layouts have been checked on the deployed dashboard. The application remains private; this page describes the design without exposing its destinations or personal records.
What I learned
A dashboard is useful when its first screen reflects the day, not the order in which services were installed. Grouping by purpose made the same collection of tools easier to live with.
I build on the open-source Homepage project. My work is the personal configuration, visual treatment, and integration into my daily workflow.
